Summer brings a breath of fresh air to the PIABO sails, as we start the second half of the year with new talent. The Corona crisis has not only reshuffled the cards for businesses, but has also opened or forced new digital means for many. This has also changed the potential requirements for good communication.
With increasing digital affinity, there is a growing need for social media strategies for companies, trust-building employer branding or new approaches to B2B customer acquisition. New channels such as online streaming or podcast production allow the colourful bouquet of media work to continue to flourish and need to be woven into a holistic digital strategy.
Not least because of this, the demand for competent consulting partners has grown and PIABO has attracted new talent. Every new employee is an enrichment for us. Who they are and what they do at PIABO, we would like to introduce to you in detail:
“I joined PIABO PR at the beginning of March and grew into the PIABO Family during the Corona period, so to speak in the home office period. Now I am even more pleased that we are partly back in the office and can work together in a much more personal way!”
In early spring, Nico started as a working student at PIABO PR. He supports the entire team ever since energetically in social media, research activities and text creation – like this one. With his digital affinity a la GenZ, he brings expert knowledge to bear, especially for the younger target groups. Born in Cologne, he is currently studying Conflict Studies and has been working in the start-up environment for three years, focusing on healthtech and greentech companies.

Pauline is our “import” from France. She was born in Germany, but after her master’s degree Pauline decided to stay in Paris, where she started to work for the Parisian agency Rumeur Publique. Here she developed her expertise for Fintechs. Since May, the Hamburg native has been working for PIABO in the B2B Technology Unit, consulting clients from the Fintech, Retail, Healthtech and SaaS sectors.

Felix is Head of Digital Communication at PIABO PR since May. As Head of Social Media DACH, he has recently consolidated and promoted the communication of the streaming service DAZN on its digital channels. At PIABO PR, Felix is now strategically expanding the Digital Communication Unit and thus extending the content offering of integrated B2C and B2B communication.

Simon works in the B2B unit for Fintechs, Healthtechs, Traveltechs, SaaS companies. Born in Bavaria, he is a communications consultant with a heart for smart storytelling. His current focus is on the digitalization of Germany’s well-known “Mittelstand”.

Little guessing game: Do you know Bad Oldesloe? Marten was born here. Since July, he has been supporting PIABO in the field of strategic communication as well as supporting PIABO’s social media activities. With his experience in the proptech sector – he previously worked in the communications team of the Ziegert Immobilien Group – he now consults clients from the real estate industry with targeted PR.
“In my daily work, my main focus lies in the area of Deeptech. PIABO has great clients, which I love to support communication-wise.”
Max enhances the team around PIABO’s Deep Techies: Max has been with us since July as Senior Communications Consultant. In fact, he masters the technical language of Deep Tech companies by heart. It’s his passion to develop exciting stories around their products and services. Before, Max has lived in Shanghai for almost six years.

Sönke started as Communications Consultant and is one of the most recent newcomers at PIABO PR. Since August, he has been supporting the PIABO team full of verve as an expert for advertising and marketing technology and has been working on convincing storytelling concepts for our partners from the very first minute.

Also, Vanessa just started at PIABO. As a Digital Performance Consultant she will actively support our Digital Communications Director Felix. Vanessa is “a real Berlin native”. Da kiekste, wa?

Henric is the last on our list of PIABO’s newbies. He comes from Hanover and started as an in-house expert for employer branding and personnel marketing. The topic fulfils an indispensable role in PR today. In order to find the best talents for our clients, he will be involved in convincing campaigns for employee recruitment and satisfaction in the future.
