Dublin/Berlin, July 6, 2025 – The financial service provider Stripe is investing in Germany and opening a new, significantly larger office in early 2026 to provide its German users with even more comprehensive advice. The new office in the Die Macherei Berlin-Kreuzberg district on Hallesches Ufer will offer 3,000 square meters of space for more than 100 employees.
With its programmable financial services, Stripe supports the fastest-growing German start-ups, such as DeepL, Personio and Celonis, as well as the most innovative DAX40 companies, such as E.ON, Allianz and BMW. Hundreds of thousands of German companies use the company’s services, and more than a hundred thousand more are added every year. Stripe’s payment volume grew by 38 percent worldwide last year, and even faster in Germany.
For Marcos Raiser do Ó, Head of DACH at Stripe, the new office marks an important milestone: “We are proud to support many of Germany’s most successful companies from our office. And our expansion not only reflects the growth of our existing users, but thousands more German companies are starting with Stripe every day. We see particularly great opportunities in digital exports. More than half of our German customers already sell internationally, but we believe this percentage could be even higher. We look forward to making a small contribution to expanding the global reach of German companies and thus contributing to new economic growth.”
This focus on internationality can be seen in Germany, for example, in the parking operator APCOA, which Stripe helped to standardize its international business processes. And Stripe helped the mobility service FreeNow to make its service even easier to use across national borders.
On the product side, Stripe is also investing in Germany. Just a few weeks ago, the company announced the launch of Stripe Capital in Germany, which will give companies easier and more flexible access to financing options. In addition, Stripe will support Wero and 25 other new payment methods by the end of the year, and the scope of Stripe’s fraud detection software Radar will be extended to SEPA direct debits. Stripe is also advising its customers in Germany on the introduction of future technologies such as Agentic Commerce and stablecoin-based monetary transactions.
