Digital Health is booming, but how do you get an overview? We've selected a few noteworthy digital health events to accompany discourses and developments in health over the coming weeks and months.
Admittedly, digital events are still not half as much fun as their predecessors, which always focused on the human element in addition to specialist lectures and exhibitions. Although travel times have become much more convenient, which is often an argument for many last-minute decision-makers to have a quick look at a lecture after all, a real feeling - whether at a trade show or a conference - just doesn't arise.
The good news is that, thanks to increasingly sophisticated hygiene concepts, the first events are opening their doors and gates to hybrid versions where public traffic can take place on site. In our list, you will therefore always find a corresponding note about the form in which the event will take place. Since such decisions can also change quickly, we make every effort to update this article regularly.
April 20-21, 2021 - 26th Handelsblatt Conference: Pharma 2021
Under the motto "Strategy and innovation for an industry in focus", industry leaders from the pharmaceutical industry will meet for the 26th Handelsblatt Conference. Actually, it is still the 2020 edition, as the event was immediately postponed by one year, but the topics are not old at all: central questions around the digitalization of hospitals in Germany will be the focus of expert presentations and discussions at #difg21. June 7-11, 2021 - DMEA
"A week of digital health" is what DMEA promises in its 2021 edition. Between panel discussions, inspiring keynotes and scientific presentations, current developments and the future of health IT will be highlighted by renowned speakers from politics and business, including numerous players: in digital health. June 8-10, 2021 - HIMSS Europe & Health 2.0 Conference
International speakers from over 90 countries, insights into different approaches and a broad audience - that was the HIMMS Europe & Health Conference in 2020. Under the motto "Collaborations, Sustainability and Precision: A New Agenda for Europe", a second edition with a focus on "Digital Health" is now planned in Helsinki. According to current information, the event is planned to be hybrid (virtual and on-site).
November 24-25, 2021 - Health: The Digital Future (Handelsblatt Inside)
There is still little known about the planned conference, but last year's event focused on the European Data Space, the Digital Health Market and Consumerized Health. We are therefore eagerly awaiting the new program. According to current information, the event is planned to be virtual.
December 7, 2021 - Digital Health Conference
In November 2020, more than 60 high-profile speakers were at the digital edition of the Digital Health Conference. The bitkom events are characterized by enormously sharpened topic concepts with high political attention. Therefore, it is also likely that the #dhc21 will again be a central lighthouse conference in the German health sector. According to current information, the event is planned to be virtual.
