Save The Date: Third Berlin Blockchain Week with an exciting program in 2020

The aim of the community’s joint initiative is to gather the bright minds of the Blockchain scene in the beginning of September to present a program that is packed with conferences, interesting meetups, and entertaining panels. Everyone is welcome – from developers and scientists to tech entrepreneurs and those curious to learn more about this visionary technology. With its third series of events, the Blockchain Week in Berlin is to become the major platform for a global community of blockchain experts.

Decentralized and community-driven
The Berlin Blockchain Week especially wants to provide guidance for visitors and newcomers – both, to Berlin and blockchain. The organizers offer their support by arranging contacts, accommodation and event locations. By giving access to their network, they want to keep true to the fundamental rule of blockchain technology: cooperation leads to success. Accordingly, the event has no underlying business case. Instead, it focuses on education. Experts from all over the world come to benefit from the network effects and get to know the matchmakers behind the scenes. Last year, around 2000 participants attended over 70 events during the Berlin Blockchain Week.

So far DappCon, TEGG 2020, 1kx, Web3 Summit, BerChain e.V., and Sub0 have confirmed events. DappCon will kick off with its three-day event on September 8th. The content is not only curated by the organizer, but also by the participants themselves. BerChain is organizing an (un)conference on September 10th, which will provide a platform for real-world blockchain applications and inspire the participants with use cases. On September 11th, TEGG 2020 will open the doors to its conference on crypto-economics and at Sub0 developers can learn how to build app-specific blockchains using Parity Technologies’ Substrate blockchain framework. From September 11th to 13th the #BerBlock hackathon will take place at the European Crypto-Hub Full Node. Last but not least, Web3 Summit welcomes all participants from September 14th to 16th at the Golden Box, near the RAW area in Friedrichshain, to discuss the rapidly evolving future of blockchain.
