CamundaCon 2024 in Berlin: End-to-end automation in action

CamundaCon will take place as a hybrid event on 15 and 16 May. The focus: How automation and process orchestration can be successfully scaled to deliver tangible added value for any organisation.

Berlin, 27 March 2024: Camunda, a leader in process orchestration, invites everyone involved in automation to "CamundaCon - The Process Orchestration Conference". The conference will take place on 15 and 16 May 2024 at the WECC-Westhafen Convention Center in Berlin and online. From CxOs and IT decision-makers to software architects and developers - the entire community will come together at this event. A variety of topics and success stories from different industries, interactive sessions and educational presentations guarantee that there will be an interesting topic for all visitors.

"In order to generate the greatest possible sustainable value, automation efforts must go beyond one-off solutions," says Jakob Freund, founder and CEO of Camunda. "Processes must be automated across departments and technologies, from end to end, always with an eye on the technical and business consequences in order to deliver tangible added value. Process orchestration is essential to unlock the full value of automation. CamundaCon provides a platform to share expertise and best practices and learn how automation and process orchestration can take organisations to the next level."

What does CamundaCon 2024 offer?
The agenda of CamundaCon 2024 is filled with presentations on trending topics, practical case studies and in-depth technical sessions on automation and process orchestration. Highlights of the event include:

> Opening keynote by Jakob Freund: the founder and CEO of Camunda will open the conference with an outlook on the future of the industry and show what potential process orchestration holds and what strategy can be used to achieve it.

> Technological visions by Bernd Rücker and Daniel Meyer: On the second day, the founder and Chief Technologist Bernd Rücker and the CTO of Camunda, Daniel Meyer, will provide insights into the latest and upcoming innovations of the orchestration platform.

> Sustainable software development with Sarah Hsu: Also on day two, Sarah Hsu, Chair of the Green Software Foundation and Site Reliability Engineer, will present best practices for green software.

> Transformative stories and technical deep dives: In other sessions, participants will learn more about the use of BPMN at Deutsche Telekom or Deloitte's architecture approach for the smooth migration to the latest Camunda version, among other things.

There are also numerous event formats for collaboration:

> Unconference: an interactive format by participants for participants. Technical challenges and business opportunities that are not (yet) on the official event agenda are discussed here.

> Code Clinic: Experts in BPMN, Zeebe and Camunda answer participants' questions in live demonstrations.

> Hackday: Participants have the opportunity to come together in teams and work on interesting projects using Camunda.

> Camunda Partner Summit: The day before the official start of CamundaCon (14 May), a half-day event will be held exclusively for Camunda partners. Under the motto "Process Orchestration Built Together", participants can discover new ways in which they can support their customers in orchestrating processes in their organisations.

Whether on site or online: The conference offers many opportunities for networking between speakers, participants and with representatives of sponsors such as BP3 Global, cimt, Cognizant, Incentro, J-IT, NTConsult, SCAI Tecno, Surge Technology and viadee.
