On the Fast Track: FRAMEN Expands Content Offering in the Sports Sector
Berlin, June 6, 2023. Few things unite society as much as sports and sporting events. The communication surrounding sports events dominates large parts of the television and social media landscape, and thanks to the content distribution platform FRAMEN, now also heavily frequented areas in public spaces. Founded in Berlin in 2018, the company positions itself as a leading distribution platform for publishers, content marketers, and brands who wish to share sports content and comprehensive brand messages related to the sports sector in real life.
Wider Public Awareness of Sports Events in Focus
Through FRAMEN's streaming platform, current sports content from various disciplines can be streamed in numerous locations, including hotels, coworking offices, gyms, and gas stations. Furthermore, FRAMEN is currently conducting regular campaigns and sponsorships for various sports events. Recent projects included a ticket campaign for the just-concluded Porsche European Open, streaming, and an upcoming exclusive event for this year's Bett1 Open. Bundesliga highlights are also shown on screens operated by FRAMEN. In addition, a partnership with the American football team Frankfurt Galaxy is in the works.
"Sports are an essential part of our society and are part of the daily lives of many people. With a clear focus on the communication of sports content in our locations like hotels, gyms, etc., we strengthen the connection between sports and entertainment and create added value for athletes, brands, location operators, publishers, and audiences," says FRAMEN CEO and co-founder Dimitri Gärtner.
FRAMEN is Part of the DYN Media Network
From the outset, FRAMEN has been part of the DYN Media Network, launching in August. Dyn Media aggregates national and international sports content, including handball, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, and hockey, and is constantly expanding its streaming offerings. Through the cooperation with the network, location operators using FRAMEN's content distribution platform gain easy access to high-quality video content for their own publication – and thereby new opportunities for audience expansion and marketing potential.
Context-Based Advertising for Sports Brands
The integrative FRAMEN platform offers brands the opportunity to link their brand communication in semi-public spaces specifically with relevant content. In this way, advertising messages naturally integrate into the overall complex of streamed content. This trend, known as Contextual Marketing, is now also being used extensively for sports brands that wish to place their ads during competitions and tournaments such as European or World Championships.
"Good brand communication is characterized above all by not being perceived as annoying advertising, but as an appealing message. Especially sports offer a unique context for countless brands, as it is both thrilling and emotional," comments Magdalena Pusch, CMO and co-founder of FRAMEN.
